Yesterday was a most spectacular day.  In between my son passing a challenge test to become that lucky one child in five who outgrows his peanut allergy, and other bits of good news, my story “Searching for the Sea Monster” was accepted for publication in the upcoming anthology Dead Bait by Severed Press.  Exact publication date isn’t been communicated to me yet, but I will absolutely tell everyone over and over again once I find out.

Two consecutive months with a story sale!

But wait, there’s more!  I logged into my e-mail this afternoon during a break at work to find another acceptance waiting for me.  I’ve only just responded to the e-mail, so I haven’t got full details yet, but you can bet I’ll post them when I do.

I have a former boss who was fond of saying that two data points doesn’t make a trend and that’s certainly true, but I’ve got three now, and they give me hope for a longer term writing career.
